Start with your Pokémon and move effects

Pokebonk’s public interface includes physical and special attack, types, move effects and evolution. Read which effect an upgrade actually changes before selecting it.

A bonus limited to one move family or condition is different from a general damage increase. Match the description to the moves you have rather than assuming all damage labels are interchangeable.

A practical upgrade checklist

This is a decision checklist, not a measured best-build ranking. The right choice depends on your current Pokémon, available moves, enemies and mode.

  1. Check whether the upgrade affects a move you currently use.
  2. Read its conditions, range and cooldown where shown.
  3. Compare survival and mobility against additional damage if you are being overwhelmed.
  4. Check whether an evolution or later unlock needs a specific condition.
  5. Keep the current game tooltip as the final reference.

How does evolution work in Pokebonk?

Evolution is a feature described by the game website and interface. This guide has not verified a complete species-by-species evolution table. Follow the requirement shown for the selected Pokémon instead of using an invented universal level.

Plan when to use the Ultimate

The interface documents an Ultimate ability and a ready notification. The default keyboard reference lists R; touch users have a dedicated button. Check the active settings if a different prompt appears.

Use the ability description to understand its conditions. This guide does not publish untested cooldowns, damage formulas or claims that one Ultimate always wins.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Pokebonk build?

No universal best build is established by the evidence checked here. Use the current move and upgrade descriptions and evaluate results in the mode you play.

Are these recommendations tested tier rankings?

No. They are a source-based planning checklist. A security check prevented a completed first-hand run during this review.

Where can I check current balance changes?

Read the game’s version and news controls and the linked community. A dated guide can become stale after an update.
